Blog Guidelines
Our classroom blog is a place for us to share our hard work and to continue discussions that we have started in class. Writing comments is an important part of that process. Students should be mindful of what they post to the Internet. With that in mind, there are a few guidelines I would like for them to follow.

- When you write on the blog, use your first name only. You may use your last initial but should never use your full name.
- Do not post your address, phone number, or email address on the blog.
- Never post comments that may hurt someone’s feelings or offend someone.
- All posts will be checked by the teacher before they are published to the blog.
Keeping safe: stop, think, before you click!

- I will not give my home address, phone number, send a photograph or video, or give any other personal information that could be used to identify me, my family or my friends, unless my teacher has given permission.
- I will never arrange to meet someone I have only ever previously met on the Internet or by email or in a chat room.
- If I see anything I am unhappy with or I receive a message I do not like, I will not respond to it but I will tell a teacher / responsible adult.
